The best golden 'raw' sugar out there

Found this kind of sugar many years ago while on vacation in Jamaica and won't use anything else in my coffee. I've tried other brands but Irie is the very best by far. It was out of stock for a while but it's back again (summer '26) and I'm so happy that it's available in Canada again, out of Toronto, from a Canadian company. I use it as garnish on baked desserts as it just looks beautiful as well. If you haven't tried it you're missing out on a great product.

Just the right amount of spice!

I’ve had the lightly salted type of this chips from my recent trip to Costa Rica. When I came back I have been on the hunt on where to buy them. I live on the west coast and thankfully GEM’S Grocery ships them. The pepper plantain chips were great! Not too salty nor too sweet. Just the right amount of kick. Gem’s Grocery was fantastic. Service was great and prompt. They even took a photo of my order before shipping. Good plantain chips and great service overall. Wish there was a minimum purchase for free shipping but given I was on the other side of the country, still glad they shipped to me.

Excellent smelling Vanilla. I can't wait to try it in my next baking adventure. I have been using the Carribean Vanilla Essence for a long time and can no longer get it gecause the lical Superstore in my area doesn't carry it anymore. Then, I found this one. It smells every bit as good as my original of which I have only a little bit left. Very happy to have found a replacement for my original one.
